Rhodes Vets Staff - Nurses

 Deb Shatford RVN Head Veterinary Nurse.  Deb joined the practice in 1983 when it was a two vet small animal practice.  She qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1987 and become head nurse in 1988. After spending a couple of years establishing a veterinary hospital in Peterborough, she re-joined the practice in 1991. She gained both her D32/33 training and practice insurance advisor awards in 2001.  She holds an interest in anaesthesia, critical care medicine and veterinary dentistry.  She enjoys reading and walking, and is an avid "Saints" supporter.


 

 Vanessa Hart RVN Veterinary Nurse.  Vanessa joined the practice in February 2005 and qualified as a nurse in 2009 from the college of animal welfare.  She has a specialised interest in hospitalised patients and all aspects of feline medical nursing along with surgical nursing.  She enjoys socialising with friends and family and has a BIG interest in eating chocolate!


Louisa Rodgers RVN Veterinary Nurse.  Louisa joined the practice in August 2012 and is one of our part time nurses.  Louisa has been working in Veterinary practice for 15 years and became a RVN in 2004.  She has worked in several small animal practices and spent 9 years at a cat clinic.  Louisa has a keen interest in animal behaviour, especially cat.  In her spare time Louisa enjoys spending time with her two children William and Henry and enjoys outdoor activities.


Gemma Barker RVN Veterinary Nurse.  Gemma became an RVN in 2006 and joined the practice in November 2012 as one of our part time nurses.  Gemma has worked in several small animal Veterinary practices and has a keen interest in surgical and medical nursing.  In her spare time she enjoys walking her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Daisy and Sophie and is kept busy with her two children Joseph and Oliver.
