Rhodes Vets Staff - Nurses
Deb Shatford RVN Senior Veterinary Nurse. Deb joined the practice in 1983 when it was a two vet small animal practice. She qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1987 and become head nurse in 1988. After spending a couple of years establishing a veterinary hospital in Peterborough, she re-joined the practice in 1991. She remains the head nurse and her main duties include the day to day running of the practice. She gained both her D32/33 training and practice insurance advisor awards in 2001. She holds an interest in anaesthesia, critical care medicine and veterinary dentistry. She enjoys reading and walking, and is an avid "Saints" supporter.
Vanessa Hart RVN Veterinary Nurse. Vanessa joined the practice in February 2005 and qualified as a nurse in 2009 from the college of animal welfare. She has a specialised interest in hospitalised patients and all aspects of feline medical nursing along with surgical nursing. She enjoys socialising with friends and family and has a BIG interest in eating chocolate!
Jenny Meadows VN Veterinary Nurse. Jenny joined the Practice in December 2009. She qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2000. Jenny worked as a head nurse for 3 years at a practice in Kettering, where she gained her D32/33 training award. She enjoys spending time at home with her two cats Simon & Slater. Jenny is currently on maternity leave after having her first baby!
