A Broken Nail
This dog had broken it's nail, and though it was cut back it would not heal. An area of inflammation granulation tissue was growing. This would not heal.
The dog was admitted to the Hospital. Under General Anaesthesia, the nail was removed from the base (the part that the nail grows from) and sutured closed.
An abdominal tumour
A little terrier of 15 years old was feeling under the weather. The abdomen was swollen with some free fluid. A sample was taken from the Abdomen and blood was found. An elective laparotomy was performed and this tumour was removed.
Deb's 25th year
